Since 1995, Ole South Bar-B-Q has been a staple of the Owensboro community. When Greg Floyd took over the pits 13 years ago, he brought with him a simple mission: to honor the deep-rooted traditions of Western Kentucky barbecue while constantly "tweaking and revitalizing" our recipes to ensure every bite is better than the last.

We know you can get great BBQ in Memphis or Kansas City, but here in Owensboro, we do things differently. We take immense pride in our barbecued mutton, a unique local specialty that we believe everyone needs to experience at least once. From our slow-smoked brisket and pulled pork to our signature ribs, we stay true to the flavors that put us on the map.
